week three
This week we were looking at green
screening and using that for filming. We looked at a few example
videos and one in particular was the Jean Claude Van Damme video. It
had comedy, action, suspense and a lot of freelance acting for a
short film. Our first class task for the day was to get it into
groups and film certain footage to transfer onto after effects and
use the Van Damme film for green screening. My group was with Amy and
Melissa and Lauren. At first it was difficult to try and think of
ideas for how to make it a good short film but eventually we just
decided to make it look at stupid as possible but with a slight
comical twist to it. We took different approaches to bringing the
film together through after effects but eventually we managed to make
a somewhat mediocre film.
Needless to say, I enjoyed this weeks task.
